The first Tri-City multiplex disappears from the Gdynia landscape. The land owner, Vastint, started demolishing the former Centrum Gemini. The new development design of this area will use its advantages and unique location and will create place for work and rest.
The Investor plans to build a hotel, conference areas, public utility buildings, including a cinema. Near Waszyngton and Hryniewiecki Streets there will be erected residential buildings, office buildings and commercial premises. The development design of this area was prepared by JEMS Architekci. The development concept refers to the Gdynia modernism. An important element of this area is to be walkways with a public garden square and an attractive landscape architecture. Demolition works are expected to be completed until March 2019.
This is the second stage of the project called Waterfront. As part of the Waterfront I project, in 2015, between the Sea Towers building and Skwer Kosciuszki, was build the Courtyard by Marriott hotel with the view of the Gdansk Bay and the 11-storey office building.
