Waterfront

A multifunctional complex with office and hotel facilities, as well as leisure areas that will serve as a meeting place for residents and tourists, is being built in the vicinity of the waterfront of Gdynia. Gdynia Waterfront is designed both for leisure and business purposes. The complex has a unique location with a view of the Bay of Gdańsk and meets the highest expectations.

Waterfront I
The first stage of the investment — hotel Courtyard by Marriott and 11-floor office building with the floor area of 10,000 m2 — was completed in 2015 between the Sea Towers skyscraper and Skwer Kościuszki (Kościuszko Square), next to the waterfront of Basen Prezydenta (Presidential Basin). The hotel building is lower by 2 floors and has 201 rooms and a conference centre, and most importantly — a unique view to the Bay of Gdansk.

Waterfront II
At the second stage of the investment, which is planned for 2018, office buildings, residential buildings, hotel, conference space, SPA zones, public facilities, and cinema will be built. Competition was announced concerning the development of land located between Waszyngtona, Hryniewickiego and Jana Pawła II streets. Conceptual design prepared by the JEMS Architekci studio won this competition. This conceptual design refers to Gdynia’s modernist architecture. An important element of the architectural proposal for this area is constituted by passageways with a square available to public and a planned landscape architecture, which emphasizes particular functional zones of the estimated area amounting to 75,000 m2. This prestigious place is located directly next to the coastline and the city centre and will become a very important element of Gdynia’s space. Vastint Poland is the investor.
